“O Magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3

As a church we come together to magnify the name of the Lord, to make Him known, to reveal His glory to our community and to tell of His greatness.  When we talk about magnifying God that is what we mean.

WORSHIP EXPERIENCE

 SINGING

We desire, first and foremost, to sing songs that honor the Lord Jesus. While we don’t put an official “label” on our music style, we do our best to provide a Worship Environment that meets the needs of every generation. During the worship time, you will hear modern worship songs, and traditional hymns. You will see a team of worship leaders. Most importantly, you will be in an environment where Christ the King is Magnified.

SERMON

When you join us for Worship, you will see that not only do we Magnify God during the singing time, but that we Magnify Him during the sermon time as well. Each week, Pastor Ryan, leads us through the Scriptures to help us understand what that week’s verses meant to the people who originally heard them, what they mean to us today, and God’s expectations for how we need to apply them to our daily lives.

WHY DO WE REQUIRE AUDITIONS?

Many people ask the same question, “Why an audition?” There are some roles in worship ministry that are more demanding, more intense, or require more experience than others. It is our desire to set our church members up for success. Many people have a desire to fill certain roles, but some may not have the skill set to pull off those roles. The audition process protects everyone from feeling overwhelmed or embarrassed in the future.

“But aren’t auditions intimidating?” They can be, but they are necessary. At Monaghan Baptist Church, we make the promise that auditions will be relaxed, fun, and engaging. They are not designed to be intimidating or demeaning. Come give it a shot, and we promise we will get you plugged in where you fit best into our Worship Ministry.
